RABBIT’S CORE EXERCISES – FOR BEGINNERS

I’ve done a lot of research, spoken to quite a lot of people and read quite a few books to pick what I feel are the best exercises to strengthen the low back and abdomen.  Osteopathy is great at curing acute and chronic problems, but we need to condition the body to prevent low back problems.  These are the first of our Pilates exercises and  I am really pleased with them.  I think they  will be a great introduction for my patients to pilates.  They are not easy but could become a part of a routine that will get your body sorted and keep you out of trouble.  Once you have learnt the breathing and movements then you can progress onto the advanced pilates exercises for your low back and abdomen that will follow.

I designed and laid-out the exercise sheet myself and I’m also having a first attempt at putting this on my website myself. So if it looks a little ‘home-made’ that’s because it is, and I am a lot better as an osteopath than a graphic designer!

Click on the link and it’ll take you to the exercise sheet in A4 and put it on your computer for printing.  If you want the handy A5 sheet (two on a A4) I’ve also included that underneath.
